Wildings run and dark wings beat
In reflected glow, the moon she speaks
In semaphore flashes between the trees
And I drive this road alone

The owl takes wing and her pretty takes flight
Hunting hounds and the doe’s eyes bright
My full heart against darkening night
And I drive this night alone

Illusion conveys what the sunlight conceals
The world’s silhouette and the mysteries revealed
What they don’t know, they never can steal
And I walk this path alone

The wind she blows and howls my name
Candle wick, wax and flame
Bone in my limbs and blood in my veins
I dance this night alone

Full moon shines on this circle of one
The powers I bind will not be undone
The secrets I keep with this solitaire’s tongue
I am this night alone

Beyond this time and space I’ll run
Weft and warp ‘til weaving’s done
I’ll give my heart, but hold my own
And I dance this night alone

Full moon shines on this circle of one
The powers I bind will not be undone
The secrets I keep with this solitaire’s tongue
I am this night alone
